Parrot Beach Cottages is located at 60 Avenida Veneccia, Sarasota, FL 34242 (the corner of Avenida Veneccia and Avenida Messina), just steps from the #1 rated beach in the U.S. and less than 1,200 feet from Siesta Key Village where you can enjoy live music, food, drink and shopping!

This location of the beach is nicknamed "Sunset Point" because it is the number one spot on the island to enjoy sunsets. It's also often used for small private beach weddings because of its unparalleled beauty on the island.

One of the unique aspects to this part of the beach is its limited access, which provides a much more private feeling than the other beach access points where public parking is available. There is no public parking in this area, so the only way to get to this part of the beach is by foot which will be steps away when you stay at Parrot Beach Cottages.

Fishermen have also reported this spot to be a great location for shore fishing due to the proximity to the deep water channel that goes toward the intercoastal waterway. Local skimboarders say it is one of the best spots on the island to catch a wave.
